As illustrated by artists like AVICII, the internet is an amazing tool for fostering music collaboration. Google’s Web Lab is making collaboration a bit more ubiquitous with Universal Orchestra, part of Google’s Chrome Experiments series. Visitors are able to make music with others from all over the word by dragging and dropping notes onto a shared sequencing board. Everything happens in real time, making it real friggin’ cool.

Would love to see this technology applied to a band’s live stadium show…so much potential.

More to see if you step inside the Web Lab and take a look around.
