Amanda Ghassaei is a true pioneer, for she has just developed a method of transferring digital audio files into 3D printed records. Yes, the resulting audio quality leaves something to be desired (hear above), but the potential is still quite exciting—the sound reproduction will continue to improve, and with 3D printing in its infancy, there will be no shortage of graphics and effects that can be applied to make each disc one of a kind.
