Carson Ellis is the “illustrator-in-residence” for The Decemberists (I’m guessing it helps that her husband is the band’s lead singer), but this Portland-based artist has a wide-ranging portfolio that goes beyond album art and includes books, posters, editorial illustrations and fine art.
