Fools Parade

Filmmaker Jeff Turboff recently shot a 60’s-inspired music video for indie band, Trumpeter Swan, using a smartphone and a tripped-out app. To get the vintage look, Jeff first shot Trumpeter’s entire video with his iPhone and then, through a very customized editing process, broke down the video into individual frames and sent them through PhotoTropedelic—an app that adds a psychedelic look to digital photos. Sounds like a ton of work. And it was—apparently 200 hours of post production were required to produce what you see above.
