I can’t believe I haven’t come across this sooner—I’m an instant BUG fan. And here’s why: since 2007, BUG: The Evolution of Music Video has been celebrating the music video through a screening series out of London’s British Film Institute. Through bi-monthly events hosted by comedian and radio personality, Adam Buxton, music videos are given big-screen exposure, and video directors are recognized for their visual ideas and contribution to filmmaking.
To celebrate BUG’s 5th year of existence, BUG and developer Neil McLean have recently launched the BUG 5th Birthday app for the iPhone and Android. The free app contains the history of BUG, along with a curated selection of videos from previous BUG events and a variety of BUG editorial content. Plenty to get you inspired.
