iPad rock

The Creator’s Project currently has an eye-opening interview with visionary app creator, Max Weisel, who at 18 created an uber-popular music app called Soundrop that caught the attention of Björk and her experimental approach to sight and sound. The video above—taken from Björk’s latest app/album Biophilia—illustrates just how brilliant Max is with user interface design (at 2:36 in, you’ll have your mind blown). I think this is a clear indication as to where interactive albums are headed. Max is now part of Björk’s tour and utilizes multiple iPads to recreate the sounds and songs from Björk’s latest record. You can get a very clear idea as to how he rocks the iPad onstage by viewing his recent appearance alongside Björk on the Colbert Report.
