Thicket app

Thicket is a new iPad app that allows users to manipulate sound effects and create visuals through touch and finger movements. Simple finger taps and swipes allow you control of electronic sounds and complex patterns. From the demos, the app controls appear quite intuitive and simple to learn, while the visuals you create—intricate webs of geometric patterns—are stunning for the eye. The app is free, and comes with one “mode” (set of sounds/visuals), but additional modes can be purchased for $.99 a pop—you may want to check out the Scary Ugly mode demo for some real intense sounds. Thicket was designed by New York based Interval Studios, which was founded by visualist Joshue Ott in 2006.
