Fol Chen’s Tetrafol

LA-based electro-pop act, Fol Chen, has created the “Tetrafol,” an instrument that allows fans to manipulate and alter the band’s music. The Tetrafol is a wooden tetrahedron that contains Fol Chen micro-compositions, and is sensitive to motion and rotation, allowing users to manipulate the band’s sounds as they play. The project was developed by interface designers monome and educators machine project. What a brilliant way to interact with the band’s music – and make it your own. The Tetrafol is available for $110 and you can order it here.
