Thalassing packaging

I started conducting a bit of research on this band by listening to some of their music—a style I would call “ambient folk” – if you’re working late, and apply a decent set of headphones, it has an uncanny ability to make all the bullshit from your Monday melt quietly away. Thalassing’s most recent release, self-titled and pictured above, comes from Clay Pipe Music – a label you my have already heard of because of your encyclopedic knowledge of RÖKBRAND posts – Clay Pipe serves as a passion project for illustrator Frances Castle who uses CPM to release beautifully hand-crafted CDs at very limited numbers. Frances’ work above proves that successful packaging doesn’t have to be expensive, just honest and personal.
