Brain Records box set

A pioneer in electronic music, Germany’s Brain Records launched in 1972 and are about to celebrate their 40th anniversary. To highlight the occasion, the label worked with graphic designer Joseph Cox to design a special edition box set that pays tribute to the many musicians and artists that were a part of the Brain roster. Circuitry was used as a metaphor to convey the connections the musicians had with eachother as many jammed or played within several bands other than their own. The graphics also serve as a connection to the electronic instruments that were a part of the label’s musical lineage.
