Music fan and entrepreneur Nick Dangerfield is behind Playbutton – a wearable record that plays itself. Each button can hold up to 2GB of content with adjustable volume, five-hour battery life, and a rechargeable battery. The front can be customized in any way imaginable with graphics and text. Earlier this year, Playbutton’s first 500 buttons sold out quickly, and now with a ton of buzz generated, bands and labels are lining up to release their own button albums. Pretty interesting way to reinvent the physical release – can’t wait to see if it really takes off. Get more insight from an interview with Mr. Dangerfield over at techpeek.
