Los Campesinos’ Heat Rash

It’s about time a band reinvented the traditional fan club. Leave it to the scrappy indie artists to take the concept and refresh it with the hope of communicating with fans in
an inventive and artistic manner. UK-based indie pop group Los Campesinos is leading
the way with Heat Rash, a quarterly ‘zine and music bundle that features art, music, special edition vinyl, exclusive songs and much more. The band has created Heat Rash
“. . . to act in the moment, to talk about what we want to, as a platform for other mediums
of ‘art’, and to write and release songs in a more spontaneous way.” I like Heat Rash for what it offers fans, and I love it for the manner in which it does it.
