The Washington University Amateurs packaging

Missouri-based graphic designer Mary Rosamond is responsible for this screenprinted packaging for a college a cappella group. Designed using some great looking, glue-free blank disc packaging from Stumptown, the end result gives a nice organic, hand-made feel to a product that reflects a style of music that showcases raw talent and doesn’t rely upon musical instruments.

My only complaint here is that the skeletal illustrations lend themselves to a more rock or hardcore vibe, and are not so representative of the tame and straightforward performance usually associated with an a cappella group. Overall, job well done. More images and backstory over at FPO.
